The Valencia CF Academy at Elounda Collection Hotels & Resorts offers children the opportunity during their summer holidays to learn the fundamentals of football following the official methodology of the Valencia CF Academy. Our academy combines fun, sport, and education, and is open to boys and girls aged 5 to 14 who wish to learn the secrets of football under the guidance of official Valencia CF Academy coaches. The Valencia CF Summer Camp at Elounda Collection Hotels & Resorts, an official Valencia CF Summer Camp in Greece, welcomes children of all football skill levels, regardless of the team they support. The mission is for every participant to enjoy football while learning to play the Valencia CF way. Within our program, all children—regardless of their level—have the opportunity to express themselves and develop both creative and technical skills.

Training Methodology

The team experience is the most important tool for transmitting football values. Through teamwork, participants discover the key principles that define the Valencia CF Summer Camp.

The Valencia CF training methodology, team-based, can be summarized in three core concepts:

1. Motivation – encouraging participants to want to learn.
2. Training – explaining and teaching football concepts and values.
3. Experimentation – applying what they have learned in practice.

The training program is based on the successful model of the Valencia CF Academy. Training sessions are conducted by official Valencia CF Academy partner coaches.

Depending on the age and skill level of participants, the program includes:

• Warm-up sessions with dynamic stretching and coordination exercises with or without the ball
• Individual technical and tactical training exercises with or without the ball

• Game-based learning sessions, including:
  • Small-sided games
  • Modified games
  • Position games

• Participants also benefit from individualized training sessions under the supervision of Valencia CF Academy coaches.

Summer Camp MVP Award

The MVP player of the summer, selected by the Valencia CF Academy coaches leading the camp, will win a FREE 5-day football training trip to the Valencia CF Academy Training Stage during the next football season at the club’s training center Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna in Valencia.
