LETTER TO THE PARENTS OF OUR SELECTED PLAYERS

Dear Parents,

Your child is a member of the Valencia CF Academy Southeast Europe Elite Team and has been selected, with a scholarship, to participate in the Valencia Academy Elite Camp (evaluation week) from June 22 – 29, 2025. Eighteen selected athletes from around the world will take part in the Elite Camp that will take place at the Academy’s training center in Valencia.

We are honoured that four players from Greece and Cyprus have been selected to participate in this:

GR: Stylianos Kouvelas, Dimitris Papadimitriou, Panagiotis Grammatikakis
CY: Marios Toumbas – who was also invited to a trial period with Valencia CF’s U17 team.

Selection process

As you know from our communication, the U16 (2009) age group is a very important part of the Elite program. We believe that the development of young footballers is a timeless process. That is why we create long-term conditions for the development of our academy players following the philosophy and training methodology of Valencia CF. Following a decision made in collaboration with Valencia CF, in previous years the players of this age group had the opportunity to train systematically with the methodology of the academy of Valencia C.F. in the Elite program and be evaluated many times according to the program we sent you in our newsletter in September 2024.

Program

The VCF Academy Elite Camp will be organized and supervised by VCF Academy officials, coaches and staff:

o  6 Training sessions at VCF Sports City with Valencia CF Academy coaches.
o  2 Friendly matches.
o  Guided tour of the VLC Center and free time in the center of Valencia.
o  Visit the official VCF Megastore.
o  Guided tour of the Mestalla Stadium.
o  Visiting and participating in leisure activities at Malvarrosa Beach.
o  Provision of Valencia CF clothing (shirt-shorts-socks).
